Tyre damage

It is always dangerous to ignore tyre damage.
If swelling, breakage, or cuts make the carcass visible or if the tyre has undergone a violent blow (for instance against the pavement) leading to the belief that there may be internal damage which cannot be seen from the outside, the tyre must be removed and inspected by an expert as soon as possible.

If it is strictly necessary and possible to repair the tyre, it must be done promptly in order to avoid any further damage to the structure.
An expert who assumes all responsibility on the matter must, in any case, be called on for any repairs.
If the balconies of the rim are worn or damaged, any chips or roughness should be smoothed to avoid damaging the tyre in the fitting phase.
