The outer shoulder guarantees optimal contact on curves, while the inner part allows the tyre to work correctly even on wet asphalt when there is a potential risk of aquaplaning.
The new Pirelli P Zero asphalt tyre for the WRC, similarly to what happens in the case of products destined for ordinary standard production cars, can be used on both dry and wet road surfaces.
