Pirelli is the official tire partner of the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Special Reserve for the three year period 2008 to 2010 and as part of that agreement Pirelli P Zero is the exclusive tire fitment for all cars in the Daytona Prototype and GT categories.
The Grand-Am series has grown to become the biggest top level sports car series in the USA, with its showcase event, the Daytona 24 Hours, regularly starting over 60 cars on the grid.
With hard fought competition between the tyre companies, some of Pirelli's best known championship victories have taken place in the FIA GT, in particular those with Maserati - a partnership which exists to this day. But Pirelli is also racing in the series with Ferrari, Porsche and Aston Martin so there is a wide cross section of development. For more information click on the FIA GT icon.
Now in its fourteenth season, the Ferrari Challenge has from its inception in 1993 always used exclusively Pirelli tyres.
A unique feature of the Ferrari F430 challenge car is that it races on 19" racing tyres (the 'norm' being 18"), another demonstration of how closely Pirelli's racing developments are connected to their P Zero road tyre product. For more information click on the Ferrari Challenge icon.
