• How do I choose my tyre?
   Size and tread pattern you can fit on your motorbike depend on:
  1. The bike and its maximum speed (speed index);
  2. How much your bike can be loaded (load index);
  3. Usage - on road, off road, on racetracks;
  4. Rim size.
  
  
• How do I read my tyre?
  The lettering of the tyre is very important to understand if your tyre is right for your bike. Let's take the following example: 180/55 ZR 17.
  180 is the nominal section width in mm;
  55 is the ratio between tyre section height and nominal section width. This ratio is not indicated when section is expressed in inches (eg.3.50-18)
  ZR means 0°-steel belted;
  17 is the nominal rim diameter size in inches
  
• What is the difference between a radial and a conventional tyre?
  A radial tyre with a 0°-steel belt is produced using the most up-to-date technology. These tyres are suitable for higher speed assuring stability, light handling and sporty performances. A conventional tyre is built according to the traditional technology. These tyres are particularly suitable for off road applications and lower speed for their high tear resistance.
  
• Do I need to match my motorcycle front and rear tyres?
  Definitely, if you want to get the maximum handling and performances out of your bike! Here are a few easy tips to be sure you have your tyres correctly fitted:
  1. The tyre mounted in front position needs to be marked FRONT
  2. Change the front and rear tyres together, otherwise you may risk instability due to different performance levels
  3. Do not mix radial with x-ply tyres bias unless your bike comes this way, as this can affect handling and stability.
  
• Why do I have to check my tyres inflation pressure?
  Low inflation pressure stresses the tyres and heats them. It may even lead to blow-outs and tread separation. Moreover, it contributes to premature tyre wear and decreased fuel mileage. That's why you should always be sure to have your tyres properly inflated. Also make sure that the inflation pressure matches the one indicated in your motorcycle manufacture owner guide.
  
• When should I check my tyres inflation pressure?
  Check inflation pressure (including the spare) at least once a month and before every long trip. Be sure that you check them when tyres are cold (before they have run a mile).
  
• Why do tyres lose their pressure?
  Because of permeation (i.e. air seeping through the rubber). Tyres lose more air when it's hot outside, although it can also be due to the place where you ride.
  
• What's the difference between a 20" MX front tyre and a 21" MX front tyre?
  The 20" front tyre offers a larger footprint and so it helps to improve front wheel damping, braking and traction.
  
• What is the difference between SC1, SC2 and SC3 compound?
  SC1, SC2 and SC3 compounds are best known among racers as blue (supersoft), green (soft) and yellow (medium), according to how sticky they are. In this way, the can be used in all dry weather conditions.
  NOTE THAT SC1, SC2, SC3 TYRES are developed specifically for a RACETRACK ACTIVITY
  
• Which should be my body position when riding a MX bike?
  The position of your body on a MX bike depends on the terrain you are riding on.
  You will always tend to move forward when going uphill because of the rearward weight shift.
  On the contrary, when going downhill, you will move rearward to compensate for fork compression, weight shift and gravity.
  
• Is it important to be a responsible rider? 
  Riding a motorcycle is an exercise in responsibility - to you, to others, to the environment and to the sport. That's why you must always remember to wear a helmet, have a proper license when on public roads, obey local laws, use common sense and respect the rights of others. Never ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and carefully read your motorcycle manufacturer's manual.
  
• What is the origin of the name Diablo Corsa III?
