The new Cinturato's tread compound has been reinforced with elements such as silica in order to extend tyre mileage life without sacrificing the grip characteristics. Furthermore, tyre geometry has been completely redesigned, from sidewall to tread, in order to strike the right balance between rolling resistance, mileage and safety. The average life of the new Cinturato in terms of distance covered has increased by 30%. This means that the average motorist will now replace his or her tyres every four years instead of every three (15,000 km per annum).
